YRC

The college has one unit of Youth Red Cross (Y.R.C.) with 50 volunteers (both boys & girls).it function under the chairmanship of principal associated by two teachers know as counsellors.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVS

RED Cross is an international organisation.It is based on the principles of co-operations, brotherhood and service to mankind. Its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship and lasting peace among all people it makes no discrimination as to nationality, race religion etc. It endeavours to relieve sufferings of mankind. Y.R.C. is a branch of Red Cross.

Functions:

To train the fickle youth so that they would remain imperturbable and unwavering at the time of crisis.*to teach the youth about humanity, voluntary service, neutrality. Independence, unity and university.*to promote the potentialities in the youth to enable them to render skilled philan thropic service for the mitigation of sufferings of the needy and the distressed.*to organise the blood donation camps, health checkups camps etc.
