There shall be a dramatic Society for the college called “Dramatic Association”.
MEMBERSHIP :
All the student of the +2 &+3 classes, of the college shall be members of the association (Junior and Senior) respectively.
Every member shall pay to the association account in the College Office a subscription, of Rs. 15 /- per year at the time of admission.
EXECUTIVE BODY The affairs of the society shall be managed by an Executive Body consisting of the following members.
President - Principal, Ex-Officio
The Vice-President shall he nominated by the Principal from amongst the members of the staff
The associate Vice-President will be nominated by the Principal from amongst the members of the staff.
A Secretary to be elected from amongst the students of the College Union.
One representative from each class and a girl representative.
ELECTION At the beginning of the session, election shall be held to the different officers on such date and in such manner as the Principal may determine.
DUTIES OF THE EXECUTIVE BODY The Executive Body shall perform the following duties.
Decide which drama shall be performed during the year. This-decision being subject to the approval of the Principal.
Stage at least one Annual Drama every year.
Prepare and pass the budget for the year.
Have the Expenditure in connection with the drama audited within a fortnight of the drama.
Sanction expenditure for the purpose of property and for the up-keeping, prepare or replacement of articles already purchased for the Dramatic Society.
SECRETARY The Secretary shall not be allowed to take part in drama. He shall keep the minutes of the association and be in-charge of the accounts. He may be removed from the Office.
By the Principal, if he fails to discharge the duties assigned to him, or
By a vote of no-confidence passed by not less than 2/3rd members of the Executive Body in a meeting of General Body of the members called for that purpose.
THE EXECUTIVE BODY MEETING: The quorum for an ordinary meeting of the Executive Body will be 40% of strength.
AMENDMENTS The principal reserves the rights to alter, amend or abrogate any of the rules. The alteration or amendment must be passed by a majority of the members of the Executive Body in a meeting specially called for the purpose. Such alteration or amendment is subject to the approval of the Principal.
